will be on exhibit in the Atchison County Historical Society Museum from Nov. 14 through Dec. 28, 2008

the museum is located at 200 S. 10th Street, in the Santa Fe Depot, Atchison, KS 66002

The Atchison County Historical Society

is located in the 1880 Historic Santa Fe Depot, at 200 S. 10th Street, Atchison, KS 66002

 

coming from the south - Leavenworth - Kansas City

enter Atchison on US73/K-7

proceed north past Super Wal-Mart to the first stoplight

continue through light on 10th Street - we are 2nd building past the light

large stone Depot building (just past Taco Johns)

 

 

coming from the North

K-7 from Troy (Doniphan County)

Follow K-7 into Atchison - continue on Division Street

turn south (to your right) onto N. 10th Street

continue south through downtown, cross RR tracks

large stone Depot on your left

 

coming from the North

US59 from St. Joseph

head south on US59

US59 will turn West toward Atchison - continue across Missouri River Bridge into Atchison

stay straight at light at foot of bridge - continue West to 2nd stoplight

turn right on S. 10th Street

we are 2nd building on the right - large stone Depot

 

coming from the East - I-29 (north or southbound)

take the Tracy exit off I-29

follow Mo-273

through Weston and continue north past Bean and Sugar Lakes

turn West (left) at intersection with US59

follow US59 into Atchison - across Missouri River Bridge

continue straight at light at foot of bridge - continue to 2nd stoplight

turn right at light - we are the 2nd building - large stone Depot

 

coming from the West and/or South

from Topeka - K4 / US 59

from Lawrence - K16 / US59

follow US 59 into Atchison - BP Station & Country Mart grocery will be on your right

continue straight to 2nd stoplight

turn left at light on to 10th Street

we are the 2nd buiding on right - large stone Depot
